| With a friendly population of 153, Heisler is a great place to raise children with two large playgrounds, lots of room for riding bikes and a basketball court for shooting hoops.
We have a four lane bowling alley, which offers neon bowling and an indoor skating rink open during the season on weeknights and Sunday afternoons for public skating. Our library is a member of the Parkland Library System and the Flagstaff literacy program. Our naturally soft water is well supplied and is the envy of the County. Our safe community is regularly patrolled by the RCMP. Our dedicated Volunteer Fire Department has two modern well equipped trucks and is led by Chief Joe Martz. Medical facilities including a hospital are located close by in Daysland only 15 minutes away. Schooling is available in both Daysland and Forestburg both of which are only 15 minutes away.
